About ILLUMINATE-24
ILLUMINATE-24 is a hackathon organised by Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education (CETE) at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. It provides schools and students with an open and dynamic platform that fosters innovation and creativity among students. The aim is to empower educational institutions to create environments where young minds can ideate, refine, and innovate on a given topic under the guidance of experienced mentors. By focusing on schools, we seek to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, enabling students to develop essential skills and explore their potential in cutting-edge technology fields such as automation and computational intelligence. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers who will shape the future of technology and society by addressing real-life challenges and solving complex problems that impact our communities and the world at large.
